As usual a collection of music mainly from the 70's and

Here's another recording from Radio Invicta, 92,4 FM. London's only all soul station at the time.

It dates back to 30th July 1978 and starts off with the inimitable Dr Shotgun. A man with a true love for deep soul.
Steve Chandler follows him, and again this recordings give a true picture of why Invicta was so popular.

RADIO INVICTA, Roger Tate 1975

Here's another flashback memory.
Off-air recording of a Roger Tate show from March 30th, 1975. Easter extravaganza!

This show shows that not only did they have a love for soul, but also a techincal interest in broadcasting. Not only was Invicta the first pirate to broadcast in stereo - this time they even try broadcasting in quadruplex!!

They also did Invicta TV (I think it was Steve Marshall who was the presenter) but luckily that reached only a few blocks! winking

Enjoy!

####AVAILABLE ON REQUEST - due to limited space#####

A lot of it is very blue-eyed...

One hours worth of pop music.
Hints of soul. Hints of funk.

Just because I felt for it.
